Storage tanks are meant to store cement and powdery materials in bulk: cement, barium hydroxide, clay etc. Storage tanks can be mounted in the bank within the warehouses, and in such cases they are provided with special sleeves and access walkway. Upon request, they can be equipped with an anchorage system for the seismicity area where it will be mounted.
The storage tanks have vertical cylindrical shape and fastened to the ground by its own metallic feet. For access to their higher part, storage tanks are equipped with ladders endowed with guards.
The loading of the storage tanks with powdery material is performed in all cases with the help of an outside air source, and the unloading is performed by free fall at atmospheric pressure, except for the 27-ton cement storage tank, for which the unloading is performed with the help of air pressure, supplied from its own source.
