Established in 1969, as the "Semi-finished Construction Materials Plant", the company was initially created as a supplier of metal structures and semi-finished concrete products for the construction industry.
The development of the company involved also the diversification of its products and markets, and the implementation of a high performance management as well as the employees' recognised skills made MECANPETROL to become one of the main equipment suppliers in Romania.
The main objective of MECANPETROL is to satisfy the requirements of its customers’ requirements by offering quality products, manufactured in compliance with the standards, rules and regulations specified by the customer, such as: EN, ASME, AD2000-Merkblatt, Directive for pressure equipment 97/23/EC, Directive for mobile pressure equipment 99/36/EC, Directive for simple pressure equipment 87/404/EC or with the procedures of conformity assessment and the rules forthe application and use of EC compliance marking.
